Unraveling the Complexity: CBSE Board Maths Exam 2024 Analysis

Millions of candidates todays face the challenge of the CBSE Class 12 Maths Exam 2024. Scheduled for three hours between 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM ⏰, with an additional 15 minutes of reading time 📖, this exam is a crucial milestone for students. Let's delve into a detailed analysis of the paper although i am a chemistry expert but before writing this article i have discussion with two of the students who appeared in the exam as well as two mathematics expert.

Student Perception and Difficulty Level

• Most students reported the Maths paper ranging from moderate to difficult. Gain insights into their experiences and challenges faced during the examination.
• The paper incorporated some tricky questions and competency-based queries, prompting students to apply their acquired knowledge effectively. Overall, the paper's difficulty level ranged from easy to moderate, with a few multiple-choice questions presenting a challenge. It was structured in a manner that rewarded those who had diligently followed the NCERT curriculum.
• The varied mix of question types facilitated a thorough assessment of students' knowledge and skills. Students were encouraged to think creatively and apply their understanding in innovative ways, showcasing a deeper level of comprehension. This approach not only evaluated their mathematical prowess but also nurtured a more comprehensive learning journey.
• Students perceived that the Integration questions delved into deeper levels of comprehension. In contrast to the CBSE Class 12 sample question paper, the difficulty level of the CBSE Class 12 Maths question paper was notably higher. Additionally, the lengthiness of the paper demanded a significant amount of time from students.
• A majority of the students encountered challenges with "Section D," finding it both difficult and time-consuming. The spectrum of question difficulties varied, spanning from moderate to challenging. Most questions necessitated critical thinking and practical application skills. Surprisingly, questions based on case studies were relatively easier to tackle.
